Spring 2025: SDSU Climate Informatics Lab held
FourCastNet tutorial/training at the City University of New York (CUNY) for the NOAA project (Center for Earth System Sciences and Remote Sensing Technologies). Iman Khadir and Shane Stevenson were the main presenters.(06/20/2025)
The American Meteorological Society's annual meeting at Baltimore, January 29 - February 1, 2024, displayed book
entitled "Statistics and Data Visualization in Climate Science with R and Python" authored by S.S.P. Shen and G.R. North. Professor Shen had a photo with his book readers in front of the Cambridge University Press (CUP)'s exhibition booth at the meeting on January 30, 2024. CUP's booth also displayed Professor Shen's another book: "Climate Mathematics: Theory and Applications" by S.S.P. Shen and R.C.J. Somerville.
